Mamata Banerjee: দশ বছর আগে পাশ হওয়া সিঙ্গুর বিল নিয়ে মমতার আবেগী টুইট

বাম সরকারকে সরিয়ে রাজ্যের ক্ষমতায় আসার পিছনে সিঙ্গুর (Singur)-নন্দীগ্রাম (Nanadigram) আন্দোলন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় (CM Mamata Banerjee)-কে অনেকটাই সাহায্য করেছিল। আজ থেকে ঠিক দশ বছর আগে  রাজ্যে ক্ষমতায় এসেই মমতা পাশ করেছিলেন সিঙ্গুর জমি পুর্নবাসন ও উন্নয়ন বিল(  Singur Land Rehabilitation and Development Bill)। দশ বছর আগে সেই বিল পাশের কথা মনে করে টুইট করে সিঙ্গুর আন্দোলন পর্বের স্মৃতি উস্কে দিলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।

On this day, ten years back, the Singur Land Rehabilitation and Development Bill 2011 was passed in the WB assembly after a long & difficult struggle.

We unitedly fought for the rights of our farmers & addressed their grievances, bringing in positive change in their lives. (1/2)

Today, it pains me that across the nation our farmer brethren are suffering owing to the indifference of the Centre.
