RG Kar Rape-Murder Case: সিপির পদত্যাগের দাবিতে বিক্ষোভে অনড় জুনিয়র চিকিৎসকরা
পুলিশ কমিশনার বিনীত গোয়েলের পদত্যাগের দাবিতে রাতভোর বিক্ষোভের পর মঙ্গলবার সকালেও বিক্ষোভে অনড় জুনিয়র চিকিৎসকরা।
কলকাতা: মঙ্গলবার সকালেও বিক্ষোভে অনড় জুনিয়র চিকিৎসকরা (Junior Doctors)। গতকাল রাজপথে রাত জেগেছেন চিকিৎসকরা। সোমবার রাতভর অবস্থানের পর মঙ্গলবার সকালেও জুনিয়র চিকিৎসকরা লালবাজারের কাছে বিক্ষোভ চালিয়ে যাচ্ছেন। তাঁদের দাবি, পুলিশ কমিশনার বিনীত গোয়েলের পদত্যাগ। আন্দোলনকারীরা জানিয়ে দিয়েছেন, যতক্ষণ না তাঁদের এই দাবি পূরণ হচ্ছে তাঁরা অবস্থান থেকে নড়বেন না।
এক জুনিয়র চিকিৎসক সংবাদ সংস্থা পিটিআইকে জানিয়েছেন, ‘আমরা সিপির পদত্যাগ চাই কারণ তিনি নিরাপত্তা লঙ্ঘন এবং আরজি কর মেডিক্যাল কলেজে ১৪ আগস্ট রাতে যে ভাঙচুরের জন্য দায়ী। আমরা চাই প্রমাণ লোপাট করা অপরাধীদের গ্রেফতার করা হোক। পুলিস কমিশনার বিনীত গোয়েলকে এসে দেখা করতে হবে তাঁদের সঙ্গে। আমাদের মুখোমুখি না হওয়া পর্যন্ত আমরা প্রতিবাদ চালিয়ে যাব।’

মঙ্গলবার ভোরে সিপি-কে লালবাজার ছেড়ে বেরিয়ে যেতে দেখা গিয়েছে। তিনি আন্দোলনকারীদের মুখোমুখি হবেন কিনা সে নিয়ে এখনও কিছু জানা যায়নি।
