২০২৩ সালের আর্থিক বর্ষের সূচনায় এপ্রিল মাস থেকে অক্টোবর মাস অবধি টানা ৭ মাস মূল্যস্ফীতি সূচক নেতিবাচক হারে ছিল। এরপর গত নভেম্বরে তা ০.২৬ শতাংশ হয়ে তা কিছুটা ইতিবাচক পর্যায়ে আসে।
খাদ্যমূল্যের তীব্র বৃদ্ধির কারণে ২০২৩ সালের শেষে অর্থাৎ ডিসেম্বরে পাইকারি মূল্য সূচক (Wholesale Price Inflation ) ভিত্তিক মূল্যস্ফীতি বাড়ল ০.৭৩ শতাংশ। ২০২৩ সালের আর্থিক বর্ষের সূচনায় এপ্রিল মাস থেকে অক্টোবর মাস অবধি টানা ৭ মাস মূল্যস্ফীতি সূচক নেতিবাচক হারে ছিল। এরপর গত নভেম্বরে তা ০.২৬ শতাংশ হয়ে তা কিছুটা ইতিবাচক পর্যায়ে আসে।

২০২৩ এর ডিসেম্বরে প্রাথমিকভাবে খাদ্য সামগ্রী, যন্ত্রপাতি ও সরঞ্জাম, অন্যান্য উত্পাদন, অন্যান্য পরিবহন সরঞ্জাম এবং কম্পিউটার, ইলেকট্রনিক্স এবং অপটিক্যাল পণ্য ইত্যাদির দাম বৃদ্ধির কারণে মুদ্রাস্ফীতির ইতিবাচক হার লক্ষ্য করা গেছে বলে বাণিজ্য ও শিল্প মন্ত্রক সোমবার এক বিবৃতিতে জানিয়েছে।
