পাঞ্জাবের সাতলুজ নদীতে হড়পা বানের কারণে আটকে পড়েছিলেন অনেকেই। এবার তাদেরকে উদ্ধার করলেন ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনীর প্যান্থার ডিভিশন। শাহকোটের মান্দালা চান্নায় আটকে পড়া ছোট শিশু ও বয়ষ্ক মহিলাদের উদ্ধার করে তাঁরা।

বেশ কয়েকদিন ধরে প্রবল বৃষ্টিপাতের জেরে ভয়াবহ পরিস্থিতি পাঞ্জাব, উত্তরাখন্ড, হিমাচলপ্রদেশ, দিল্লি সহ বেশ কিছু জায়গায়।কোথাও নেমেছে ধ্বস তো হড়পা বানে ভেসে গেছে কোন কোন এলাকা। এই পরিস্থিতিতে সাধারণ মানুষদের উদ্ধার করতে নেমেছে সেনাবাহিনী।
