IMA: RG Kar-এর ঘটনার পর প্রকাশ্যে রিপোর্ট, রাতের শিফটে নিরাপত্তার অবাধবোধ করেন মহিলা জুনিয়র ডাক্তাররা
আরজি কর-কাণ্ডের (RG Kar) পর থেকে গোটা রাজ্যের পাশাপাশি দেশও উত্তাল। আরজি কর-কাণ্ডের বিচার চেয়ে রাস্তায় নামতে শুরু করেছেন জুনিয়র ডাক্তার থেকে সাধারণ মানুষ। আরজি কর-কাণ্ডের পর IMA -র তরফে একটি গবেষণা করা হয়। ইন্ডিয়ান মেডিকেল অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের তরফে যে গবেষণা করা হয়, সেখানে দেখা যায়, রাতের শিফটে যে মহিলা চিকিৎসকরা (Doctor) থাকেন, তাঁরা নিজেদের নিরাপদ ভাবেন না। নিজেদের অসম্ভবভাবে অসুরক্ষিত বলে মনে করেন ওই চিকিৎসকরা। ফলে রাতের শিফটে যাতে জুনিয়র ডাক্তাররা নিরাপত্তার জন্য অস্ত্র বহন করতে পারেন, তেমন চিন্তাভাবনাও শুরু করেন। রাতের শিফটে এক তৃতীয়াংশ মহিলা চিকিৎসক নিজেদের নিরাপদ বলে মনে করেন না বলে আইএমএর ওই গবেষণায় উঠে আসে।
