Boycott Netflix: জুনেইদ খানের 'মহারাজ' মুক্তিতে স্থগিতাদেশ, নেটফ্লিক্স বয়কটের ডাক নেটপাড়ায়
বৃহস্পতিবার, ছবিটির প্রিমিয়ার হওয়ার একদিন আগে গুজরাট হাইকোর্ট নেটফ্লিক্সকে মহারাজ মুক্তি স্থগিত রাখার নির্দেশ দেয়। ছবির প্রযোজনা সংস্থা যশ রাজ ফিল্মস এবং নেটফ্লিক্সকে নোটিস জারি করে সেই নির্দেশ দিয়েছে।
আমির খানের (Aamir Khan) ছেলে জুনেইদ খানের (Junaid Khan) প্রথম ছবির মুক্তির পথে বাধা। ১৪ জুন শুক্রবার নেটফ্লিক্সে (Netflix) মুক্তি পাওয়ার কথা ছিল 'মহারাজ' (Maharaj)। কিন্তু জুনেইদের ছবি মুক্তি পেলে ধর্মীয় ভাবাবেগে আঘাত লাগতে পারে বলে অভিযোগ তুলে শুরু থেকেই সরব হয় বিশ্ব হিন্দু পরিষদ। ছবির মুক্তিতে নিষেধাজ্ঞা চেয়ে গুজরাট আদালতের দারস্ত হয়েছিল হিন্দু গোষ্ঠী। বৃহস্পতিবার, ছবিটির প্রিমিয়ার হওয়ার একদিন আগে গুজরাট হাইকোর্ট নেটফ্লিক্সকে মহারাজ মুক্তি স্থগিত রাখার নির্দেশ দেয়। ছবির প্রযোজনা সংস্থা যশ রাজ ফিল্মস এবং নেটফ্লিক্সকে নোটিস জারি করে সেই নির্দেশ দিয়েছে। এদিকে আমির পুত্রের ছবি ঘিরে সোশ্যাল মিডিয়া জুড়ে বয়কটের রব উঠেছে। মহারাজের পাশাপাশি 'নেটফ্লিক্স ব্যান' করার জন্যেই ডাক দিচ্ছে নেটবাসীর একাংশ।
