শুক্রবার কনফেডারেশন অফ ইন্ডিয়ান ইন্ডাস্ট্রিজ বা সিআইআই-এর একটি কনক্লেভে ইউনিসেফের ফিল্ড অফিসের প্রধান মনজুর হোসেন বলেন, এই জনহিতকর কর্মসূচিগুলি রাজ্যের সামাজিক উন্নয়নের মূল চালিকাশক্তি। প্রসঙ্গত কন্যাশ্রী ও রূপশ্রী প্রকল্প দুটিই রাষ্ট্রসঙ্ঘ স্বীকৃত।এই দুই প্রকল্পই বাংলায় নারী ক্ষমতায়নের দিকে উল্লেখযোগ্য ভূমিকা নিয়েছে। বর্তমানে আরজি কর-কাণ্ডের পর থেকে যখন নারী নিরাপত্তা নিয়ে বিভিন্ন মহল থেকে প্রশ্ন উঠছে, ঠিক সেই সময়েই ইউনিসেফ আধিকারিকের এই মন্তব্য কিছুটা পালে হাওয়া দেবে সরকারের।
