অবশেষে গত বুধবার রাতে রাজস্থানের চুরু থেকে তাকে গ্রেফতার করে পুলিশ।
নয়াদিল্লিঃ পুলিশের জালে গাঁজা চোরাচালান নেটওয়ার্কের মাথা তথা জাতীয় সুরক্ষা বাহিনীর প্রাক্তন কমান্ডো(NSG Commando)। ২৬/১১ মুম্বই তাজ হামলারও অংশ ছিলেন তিনি এমনটাই গোয়েন্দা সূত্রে খবর। তাকে ধরতে ২৫,০০০ টাকা পুরস্কারও ঘোষণা করা হয়েছিল। অবশেষে গত বুধবার রাতে রাজস্থানের চুরু থেকে তাকে গ্রেফতার করে পুলিশ।
তল্লাশি অভিযান চালিয়ে তার থেকে ২০০ কিলোগ্রামেরও বেশি নিষিদ্ধ মাদক উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে। ওড়িশা, তেলেঙ্গানায় বিপুল পরিমাণে গাঁজা পাচার করার অভিযোগ রয়েছে তার বিরুদ্ধে।
