লোকসভার মুখে ফাঁপরে জাতীয় কংগ্রেস (Congress)। দলকে ১৭০০ কোটি টাকার নোটিস ধরাল আয়কর বিভাগ (Income Tax Department)। বৃহস্পতিবার আয়কর বিভাগের কর পুনর্মূল্যায়ন প্রক্রিয়ার বিরুদ্ধে করা কংগ্রেসের আবেদন খারিজ করে দেয় দিল্লি হাইকোর্ট। তার কয়েক ঘণ্টার মধ্যেই ১৭০০ কোটি টাকার নোটিস কংগ্রেসকে পাঠাল আয়কর দফতর। নোটিসের বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করে কংগ্রেস নেতা বিবেক তনখা জানান, ২০১৭-১৮ এবং ২০২০-২১ সালে কংগ্রেসের আয়কর সমীক্ষা করে এদিন আয়কর বিভাগ জানিয়েছে, জরিমানা এবং সুদ সহ জাতীয় কংগ্রেসকে ১৭০০ কোটি টাকা দিতে হবে।
