আরএসএসকে নিষিদ্ধ ঘোষণা দাবি জানিয়েছেন কংগ্রেসের সর্বভারতীয় সভাপতি মল্লিকার্জুন খাড়গে। তাঁর এই মন্তব্যের কড়া সমালোচনা করেছেন বিজেপি শিবির। এই প্রসঙ্গে শুভেন্দু অধিকারী (Suvendu Adhikari) বলেন, কংগ্রেস একটি অপ্রাসঙ্গিক, সাইনবোর্ড পার্টি। এদের কোনও মন্তব্য নিয়েই দেশবাসী চিন্তিত নয়। আরএসএস সত্যিই একটি স্বদেশপ্রেমী সংগঠন। এটি বিশ্বের বৃহত্তম হিন্দুত্ববাদী সংগঠন। কংগ্রেস অনেক চেয়েছিল সংঘকে নিষিদ্ধ ঘোষণা করতে, কিন্তু ওরা পারেনি।
