৬ মাস পর অবশেষে জামিন পেলেন দিল্লির মুখ্যমন্ত্রী অরবিন্দ কেজরিওয়াল। শর্তসাপেক্ষে তাঁকে জামিন দেন সুপ্রিম কোর্টের বিচারপতি উজ্জ্বল ভুঁইয়া এবং বিচারপতি চন্দ্রকান্তের বেঞ্চ। মুখ্যমন্ত্রী জামিন পেতেই উৎসবের মেজাজ দিল্লি জুড়ে। এমনকী ইন্ডিয়া জোটের অন্যতম শরিক দলগুলিও এই নিয়ে শুভেচ্ছা জানান মুখ্যমন্ত্রীকে। প্রাক্তন সাংসদ তথা কংগ্রেস নেতা অধীর রঞ্জন চৌধুরি (Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury) বলেন, "ওনার আরও আগে জামিন পাওয়া উচিত ছিল। বোঝাই যাচ্ছে কেজরিওয়ালের বিরুদ্ধে দায়ের করা অভিযোগের কোনও ভিত্তি ছিল না। এবং এও পরিস্কার যে রাজনৈতিক ষড়যন্ত্রের কারণেই তাঁর নামে মিথ্যা মামলা করা হয়ছিল"।
