আরজি কর কাণ্ডে (RG Kar Protest) সুবিচারের দাবিতে পথে রাজ্যবাসী। আরজি কর প্রতিবাদের মাঝে শিলিগুড়ির গণেশ পুজোয় উঠে এল নারী নির্যাতনের থিমের প্যান্ডেল। গণেশ পুজো উদযাপনের মাঝেও বাঙালি ভোলেনি আরজি কর নিয়ে বিচারের দাবি।
বাংলা জুড়ে নারী সুরক্ষার দাবিতে চলা প্রতিবাদের মাঝে দেশের বিভিন্ন জায়গা থেকে আসছে মহিলাদের নির্যাতনের খবর। কলকাতার আরজি কর থেকে মহারাষ্ট্রের বদলাপুর, মধ্যপ্রদেশের উজ্জয়িনী কিংবা উত্তর প্রদেশের কনৌজ- দেশে নারী নিরাপত্তা নিয়ে উঠছে প্রশ্ন। মণিপুরের ১৬ ধরে চলা হিংসাতেও বহু মহিলা নির্যাতিত হচ্ছেন বলে অভিযোগ।
