নয়াদিল্লিঃ বর্ষা (Monsoon) বিদায় নিতেই উত্তর ভারতে (North India) শুরু হাওয়ার দাপট। শুষ্ক বাতাসে বাড়ছে ধোঁয়ার পরিমাণ। দূষিত বাতাসে কার্যত দমবন্ধ অবস্থা দিল্লিবাসীর। এরই মাঝে পঞ্জাবের কৃষি জমিতে কা খারিফ ফসলের অবশিষ্টাংশ পোড়ানো শুরু।সোমবার, পঞ্জাবের ১৪৭ টি খামারের ফসলের অবশিষ্টাংশ পোড়ানো হয়েছে। পঞ্জাবের দূষণ নিয়ন্ত্রণ পর্ষদ সূত্রে খবর, সরকারি নিষেধাজ্ঞা উপেক্ষা করে ফসল পোড়ানোর কাজ শুরু হয়েছে। অমৃতসর ও তরণ তারণ জেলাতে বেশি ঘটছে এই ঘটনা। সরকারি সূত্র অনুযায়ী, তরণ তারণ জেলায় এখনও পর্যন্ত ২৪৯টি কৃষি খামারের ফসল পোড়ানো হয়েছে। অমৃতসরে পোড়ানো হয়েছে ১৬৯ টি, ফিরোজপুরে ৮৭ টি ও সাংরুরে ৭৯ টি।
