শরদ পাওয়ার (Sharad Pawar)-কে ছাড়া ভাবতেই পারছে জাতীয়তাবাদী কংগ্রেস পার্টি বা এনসিপি-র নেতা, কর্মীরা। গত মঙ্গলবার ২৪ বছর পর এনসিপি-র প্রধানের পদ থেকে ইস্তফা দেন শরদ পাওয়ার। তাঁর ইস্তফা তোলার দাবিতে এনসিপি নেতারা ধরণায় বসেন, তা প্রত্যাহারের দাবিতে। সেই ক্ষোভ কমাতে অজিত পাওয়ার বলেছিলেন, শরদ পাওয়ার নিজের সিদ্ধান্ত পুনর্বিবেচনার জন্য দিন দুই তিনেক সময় চেয়েছেন।
এদিকে, মুম্বইয়ের এনসিপি-র কোর কমিটির বৈঠকের পর শরদ পাওয়ারকে পার্টি প্রধানের পদে থেকে যাওয়ার আবেদন জানানো হল।
