Karnataka: প্রয়াত অভিনেতাকে শ্রদ্ধা, কর্নাটকের হাতির নামকরণ করা হল পুনীত রাজকুমার
২৯ অক্টোবর হৃদরোগে আক্রান্ত হয়ে প্রয়াত হন কন্নড় ছবির সুপারস্টার পুনীত রাজকুমার। মৃত্যুকালে তাঁর বয়স হয়েছিল ৪৬।
অভিনেতা পুনীত রাজকুমারের (Puneeth Rajkumar) নামে একটি হাতির (Elephant) নামকরণ করা হল। মৃত্যুর আগে কর্নাটকের শিবমোগায় সাকরেবাইলু হাতি ক্যাম্পে এসছিলেন পুনীত। ডেপুটি কনজারভেটর অফ ফরেস্ট নাগরাজ বলেছেন, "শ্রদ্ধা জানাতেই হাতিটির নাম রাখা হয়েছে পুনীত রাজকুমার।"
