রবিবার পোরবন্দরে (Porbandar) মাঝসমুদ্রে কয়েকজন মৎসজীবীর নৌকা ডুবে যাচ্ছিল। এসওএস কল পেতেই তড়িঘড়ি তাঁদের উদ্ধার করতে রওনা দিল ভারতীয় উপকূলরক্ষী বাহিনীর সদস্যরা। অবশেষে ৫ মৎসজীবীকে উদ্ধার করলেন তাঁরা। সি-১৬ জাহাজের মাধ্যমে উদ্ধার অভিযানে গিয়েছিলেন তাঁরা। উদ্ধার করে অসুস্থ মৎসজীবীদের চিকিৎসা করা হয়। ইতিমধ্যেই তাঁদের উপকূলে নিয়ে এসে হাসপাতালে পাঠানো হয়েছে বলে জানা গিয়েছে।
