শনিবার জম্মু ও কাশ্মীরের (Jammu & Kashmir) অক্টরই (Octroi) বর্ডার পোস্টে বিএসএফ (BSF) ও পার্ক রেঞ্জার্সদের (Pak Rangers) কমাডান্ট-লেভেল ফ্ল্যাগ মিটিং (commandant-level flag meeting) হয়।
সেখানে জম্মুর আন্তর্জাতিক সীমান্তে থাকা আরনিয়া বর্ডার পোস্ট (Arnia BOP) লক্ষ্য করে আচমকা বৃহস্পতিবার রাত আটটা থেকে পাকিস্তানি রেঞ্জার্সরা যে গুলি চালিয়ে ছিল তার তীব্র নিন্দা করেন বিএসএফের প্রতিনিধিরা। শেষ পর্যন্ত সহযোগিতার বার্তা দিয়ে ও আন্তর্জাতিক সীমান্তে শান্তি (peace) বজায় রাখার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়ে মিটিং শেষ হয় বলে জানানো হয়েছে বিএসএফের জম্মুর জনসংযোগ আধিকারিক (PRO BSF Jammu)।
