ফের পঞ্জাবের (Punjab) সীমান্ত এলাকা থেকে উদ্ধার বিপুল পরিমাণের নিষিদ্ধ মাদক। শুক্রবার গুরদাসপুর এলাকা থেকে বিএসএফের হাতে আটক ২ পাচারকারী। তাঁদের তল্লাশি করে উদ্ধার হয় ২.৮৬ কেজি মাদক। ইতিমধ্যেই অভিযুক্তদের নাম পরিচয় জানা গেছে। ধৃতদের নাম নভজ্যোৎ (২৭) ও গুরপ্রীত (২৬)। দুজনেই বাটালা জেলার বাসিন্দা। তাঁদের ইতিমধ্যেই পুলিশের হাতে তুলে দেওয়া হয়েছে। যদিও অভিযুক্তরা কোনও বড় চক্রে জড়িত বলে অনুমান পুলিশের। এই ঘটনার পর সীমান্ত এলাকায় নজরদারি বাড়িয়েছে বিএসএফ।
