'IC 814' নামে যে ওয়েব সিরিজ মুক্তি পেয়েছে নেটফ্লিক্সে (Netflix), তার বিরুদ্ধে এবার জনস্বার্থ মামলা অর্থাৎ পিল (PIL) ফাইল করা হল দিল্লি হাইকোর্টে। ১৯৯৯ সালের বিমান অপহরণ-কাণ্ড নিয়ে যে ওয়েব সিরিজি তৈরি করা হয়েছে,সেখানে তথ্যের বিকৃতি যেমন হয়েছে, তেমনি জঙ্গিদের প্রকৃত পরিচয় প্রকাশ করা হয়নি বলে অভিযোগ করা হয় ওই জনস্বার্থ মামলায়। পাশাপাশি নেটফ্লিক্সের এই সিরিজকে নিষিদ্ধ করা হোক বলে দাবি করা হয় দিল্লি হাইকোর্টে দায়ের করা জনস্বার্থ মামলায়। 'IC 814' ওয়েব সিরিজ মুক্তির পর, নেটিজেনদের একাংশের তরফে 'বয়কট বলিউডের' ডাকও দেওয়া হয়। যা নিয়ে ফের জোর চর্চা শুরু হয়ে যায় বিভিন্ন মহলে। এদিকে 'IC 814' -র প্রেক্ষিতে নেটফ্লিক্সের কনটেন্ট হেডকে সমন পাঠানো হয় কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারের তথ্য এবং সম্প্রচার মন্ত্রকের তরফে।
