দু'দিনের প্যারিসে সফরে গিয়ে ভারত-ফ্রান্স সম্পর্কে আরও জোরদার করার কথা বললেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী (PM Narendra Modi)। ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী ঘোষণা করলেন, প্যারিসের পর ফ্রান্সের শহর মার্সেইতে নতুন দূতাবাস খুলবে ভারত। ফ্রান্সের বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলিকে ভারতে ক্যাম্পাস খোলার আহ্বান জানান মোদী। আগামী বছর প্যারিসে আয়োজিত হবে গ্রীষ্মকালীন অলিম্পিক্স।
ভারতীয় ক্রীড়াবিদরা প্যারিস অলিম্পিক যোগদানের জন্য অধীর আগ্রহে অপেক্ষা করছেন বলেও মোদী জানান। ফ্রান্সে পাঠরত ভারতীয় ছাত্রদের দীর্ঘকালীন ভিসা দেওয়ার সিদ্ধান্তকেও স্বাগত জানান ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী।
