Monkey Pox: মাঙ্কি পক্সকে আর দুনিয়ায় স্বাস্থ্যে জরুরী অবস্থার আওতায় রাখল না হু

করোনা ভাইরাসের পর এবার মাঙ্কি পক্স বা এম পক্স (Mpox)। দুনিয়ার আরও একটা স্বাস্থ্য আতঙ্কের ওপর স্বস্তি দিল বিশ্ব স্বাস্থ্য সংস্থা (World Health Organization)। হু-য়ের পক্ষ থেকে ঘোষণা করা হল মাঙ্কি পক্স আর গ্লোবাল হেল্থ এমার্জেন্সি (global health emergenc) বা বিশ্ব স্বাস্থ্য জরুরী অবস্থার আওতায় পড়ছে না। করোনার আতঙ্ক কিছুটা কমার পর মাঙ্কি পক্স ভাইরাসের সংক্রমণ চিন্তায় রেখেছিল দুনিয়াকে।

পশ্চিম আফ্রিকা থেকে এম পক্স ছড়িয়ে পড়েছিল ইংল্যান্ড, আর্জেন্টিনা, দক্ষিণ কোরিয়া, কানাডা, ভারতে ছড়িয়ে পড়েছিল। ভারতে মোট ২২জন মাঙ্কি পক্সে আক্রান্ত হন।
