শ্বাসকষ্ট ও শারীরিক সমস্যায় রোমের জেমেল্লি হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়েছিল পোপ ফ্রান্সিস (Pope Francis)-কে। বুধবার পোপ রোমের হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হওয়ার পর থেকে উদ্বেগে থাকতে যায় ভক্তদের। তাঁর শারীরিক অবস্থা নিয়ে নানা জল্পনা ছড়ায়।
শনিবার রোমের হাসপাতাল থেকে ছাড়া পেলেন পোপ ফ্রান্সিস। হাসপাতাল থেকে বেরিয়ে গাড়ি থেকে হাসিমুখে সবাইকে আশ্বস্ত করে পোপ বললেন, " আমি বেঁচে আছি।"খ্রিস্টিয়ান ক্যালেন্ডারে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সপ্তাহ আসতে চলছে। পোপ এবার ভ্যাটিকানে যাচ্ছেন প্রস্তুতির কাজ খতিয়ে দেখতে।
