নিউ ইয়র্ক (New York) থেকে দিল্লি (Delhi) যাওয়ার পথে আমেরিকান এয়ারলাইন্সের একটি বিমানকে নামানো হয় রোমে (Rome) । নিরাপত্তার কারণে আমেরিকার এয়ারলাইন্সের ওই বিমানটিকে রোমে নামিয়ে দেওয়া হয়। রোমে অবতরণের পর বিমানটি যাতে সঠিকভাবে ফের দিল্লির পথে উড়ে যেতে পারে, তার জন্য করা হয় পদক্ষেপ। অবশেষে বিমানটিকে রোম থেকে পুনরায় দিল্লির পথে ওড়ানো হয় নির্ধারিত সময়ে। দিল্লিতে অবতরণের আগে বিমানটিকে খতিয়ে দেখা প্রয়োজন ছিল, সেই নিরাপত্তার কারণেই সেটিকে রোমে নামানো হয় বলে জানা যায়।
