হেজবুল্লা জঙ্গিদের খোঁজে দক্ষিণ লেবাননে (South Lebanon) ফের হামলা শুরু করল ইজরায়েল (Israel) । সংবাদ সংস্থা রয়টার্সের খবর অনুযায়ী, বেরুইট এবং লেবাননের অন্য অংশে হেজবুল্লার (Hezbollah) পেজার এবং ওয়াকি-টকি বিস্ফোরণের জেরে যে চাঞ্চল্য ছড়ায়, সেই দাবি নস্যাৎ করেছে ইজরায়েল। হেজবুল্লার শক্ত ঘাঁটিতে হামলায় ইজরায়েল কোনওভাবে জড়িত নয় বলে আইডিএফের তরফে দাবি করা হয়। অন্যদিকে পেজার বিস্ফোরণের পর নতুন করে সুর চড়ানো হয় হেজবুল্লার তরফে। হেজবুল্লা প্রধান হাসান নাসরুল্লা বলেন, পেজার বিস্ফোরণের মাধ্যমে যুদ্ধের সূচনা হয়েছে। অর্থাৎ ইজরায়েলের বিরুদ্ধে ফের নতুন করে সুর চড়ানো হয় ইরান সমর্থিত জঙ্গি গোষ্ঠী হোজবুল্লার তরফে।
