Kuwait Building Fire: কুয়েতে বহুতলে আগুন, ঝলসে মৃতের সংখ্যা বেড়ে ৪৯, রয়েছেন ১১ জন কেরলের বাসিন্দা-সহ ৪১ ভারতীয়
কুয়েতে (Kuwait) ভয়াবহ আগুনের জেরে ৪৯ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে শেষ খবর পাওয়া পর্যন্ত। যার মধ্যে ৪১ জন ভারতীয় এবং ১১ জন কেরলের বাসিন্দা বলে জানা যাচ্ছে। সংবাদ সংস্থা রয়টার্সের তরফে এমন খবর প্রকাশ করা হয়। কুয়েতে যখন ভয়াবহ অগ্নিকাণ্ডের জেরে পরপর ৪০ জন ভারতীয়র মৃত্যু হয়, সেই ঘটনায় গভীর শোক প্রকাশ করেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী (Narendra Modi) এবং বিদেশমন্ত্রী এস জয়শঙ্কর। প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, কুয়েতে যে ভারতীয় দূতাবাস রয়েছে, সেখানকার কর্মীরা গোটা পরিস্থিতির উপর নজর রাখছেন। প্রশাসনের সঙ্গে একযোগে ভারতীয় দূতাবাস কাজ করছে বলেও জানান মোদী। সেই সঙ্গে দুর্ঘটনায় আহতরা যাতে শিগগিরই সুস্থ হয়ে ওঠেন, সে বিষয়েও প্রার্থনা করেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী।
