Cyclone Zella: বছরের সবচেয়ে বড় ঘূর্ণিঝড় (Category 5 Cyclone) নিয়ে আতঙ্কে অস্ট্রেলিয়া। পশ্চিম অস্ট্রেলিয়ার পিলবারা উপকুলের দিকে ধেয়ে আসছে মহাশক্তিশালী সাইক্লোন। আজ, শুক্রবার রাতের মধ্যেই ঘণ্টায় ৩২০ কিলোমিটার বা ২০০ মাইল গতিবেগে আছড়ে পড়তে পারে 'সাইক্লোন জেলিয়া'। ক্যাটাগরি-৫ মাত্রার এই মহাশক্তিশালী ঘূর্ণিঝড়ে পশ্চিম অস্ট্রেলিয়ার পোর্ট হেডল্যান্ড ও রোয়েবোর্নের মধ্যে ধ্বংসলীলা চালাতে পারে।
পুরোপুরি ধ্বংস হয়ে যেতে পারে সেই এলাকার বড় বিল্ডিং, হোটেলগুলি। যুদ্ধকালীন ততপরতায় বহু মানুষকে নিরাপদে সরিয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়েছে। গত ১০ ফেব্রুয়ারি কিম্বেরলে উপকুলে 'সাইক্লোন জেলিয়া'-র উৎপত্তি হয়। এরপর থেকে ক্রমশ শক্তি বাড়িয়ে পাঁচ মাত্রার মহাশক্তিশালী সাইক্লোনে পরিণত হয় জেলিয়া।
