চিনের (China) পর আফগানিস্তান (Afghanistan)। সোমবার ৪.৪ মাত্রার ভূমিকম্পে (Earthquake) কেঁপে ওঠে আফগানিস্তান। কাবুল থেকে ১২৮ কিলোমিটার পূর্বে ছিল আজকের কম্পনের উৎসস্থল। আফগানিস্তানে ভূমিকম্পের জেরে এখনও পর্যন্ত ক্ষয়ক্ষতির কোনও খবর মেলেনি। প্রসঙ্গত সোমবার ৬.৮ মাত্রার ভূমিকম্পে কেঁপে ওঠে চিনের সিচুয়ান প্রদেশ। সিচুয়ানের পাশাপাশি কম্পন অনুভূত হয় চিনের অন্য শহর চেঙ্গডুতেও।
