দার্জিলিংয়ে (Darjeeling) দাঁড়িয়ে ঘোষণা। শিলিগুড়িতে মহাকাল মন্দির তৈরি করবেন মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় (Mamata Banerjee)। দিঘার জগন্নাথ মন্দির, দুর্গা অঙ্গনের পর এবার মহাকাল মন্দির তৈরি করবে তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস সরকার। রাজারহাটে যেমন দুর্গা অঙ্গন তৈরির ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে, তেমনি এবার উত্তরবঙ্গে মহাকাল মন্দির তৈরি হবে বলে জানানো হয়েছে। মহাকাল মন্দিরের (Mahakal Temple) পাশাপাশি কনভেনশন সেন্টারও তৈরি করা হবে বলে জানানো হয়েছে।
বৃহস্পতিবার দার্জিলিংয়ে গিয়ে মহাকাল মন্দির তৈরির ঘোষণা করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী। বাংলার যে ঐতিহ্য এবং সংস্কৃতি, তা তুলে ধরবে এই মহাকাল মন্দির। এমনও জানানো হয় মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর তরফে।
