জুনিয়র ডাক্তারদের (Junior Doctors) আন্দোলনকে তাঁরা সমর্থন করছেন। এই আন্দোলন 'ঐতিহাসিক'। 'গোটা বিশ্ব এই আন্দোলনকে মনে রাখবে'। বুধবার যখন স্বাস্থ্য ভবনের সামনে জুনিয়র ডাক্তারদের আন্দোলন চলছে, সেই সময় এমনই মন্তব্য করলেন কংগ্রেস নেতা অধীর চৌধুরী (Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury )। আরজি করে (RG Kar) চিকিৎসক (Doctor Death) তরুণীর ধর্ষণ এবং খুনের ঘটনার পর থেকেই 'বিচার চেয়ে' পথে আন্দোলনে নেমেছেন জুনিয়র ডাক্তাররা। প্রথমে কলকাতার পুলিশ কমিশনার বীনিত গোয়েলের পদত্যাগ চেয়ে লাল বাজারের সামনে একটানা অবস্থান করেন জুনিয়র ডাক্তাররা। তারপর রাজ্যের স্বাস্থ্য অধিকর্তার পদত্যাগ চেয়ে স্বাস্থ্য ভবনের সামনে এক নাগাড়ে অবস্থান বিক্ষোভ চালাচ্ছেন চিকিৎসকরা। নিজেদের দাবিতে অনড় থেকে নবান্নের চিঠির জবাবও দিচ্ছেন জুনিয়র ডাক্তাররা। এখন দেখা যাক, নবান্নের আলোচনার আমন্ত্রণে কীভাবে কতটা সাড়া দেন চিকিৎসকরা।
