ECI:পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচনের আগে নোডাল অফিসার নিয়োগ নির্বাচন কমিশনের
জাভেদ সামিম এবং অমিতাভ সেনগুপ্তকে নোডাল অফিসার হিসেবে নিয়োগ করেছে নির্বাচন কমিশন
পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচন উপলক্ষ্যে দুজন নোডাল অফিসার নিয়োগ করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে নির্বাচন কমিশন। কলকাতা হাইকোর্টকে সেই বিষয়টি জানানো হয়েছে।
দু জন নোডাল অফিসারের নাম যথাক্রমে জাভেদ সামিম ( অ্যাডিশনাল ডিরেক্টর জেনারেল) পশ্চিমবঙ্গ পুলিশ, অমিতাভ সেনগুপ্ত( সিভিল সার্ভিস ক্যাডার)।
শনিবার হতে চলেছে রাজ্যে পঞ্চায়েত ভোট।তার আগে রাজ্যে হিংসা, হানাহানি, মনোনয়ন জমা দেওয়া সহ নানান ইস্যুতে হস্তক্ষেপ করতে হয়েছে কোর্টকে। অবাধ নির্বাচন করতে রাজ্যে সশস্ত্র বাহিনী দিয়ে ভোট করানোর দাবি তুলেছিল বিরোধীরা। সেই দাবি মেনে কার্যত শনিবার সশস্ত্র বাহিনী দিয়েই হতে চলেছে পঞ্চায়েত ভোট।
