এই মুহূর্তে দেশের অন্যতম আলোচনার বিষয় হল দিল্লির মুখ্যমন্ত্রী অরবিন্দ কেজরিওয়ালের (Arvind Kejriwal) পদত্যাগ। জেল থেকে বেরিয়ে আচমকাই কেন তিনি পদত্যাগের ঘোষণা করেছেন তিনি। আগামী ৪৮ ঘন্টার মধ্যে মুখ্যমন্ত্রীত্ব থেকে ইস্তফা দিতে চলেছেন কেজরিওয়াল। এই নিয়ে ইতিমধ্যেই জোর জল্পনা শুরু হয়েছে রাজনৈতিক মহলে। তবে কংগ্রেস নেতা অধীর রঞ্জন চৌধুরি (Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury) অবশ্য এই জল্পনাকে বিশেষ পাত্তা দিতে নারাজ। রবিবার সাংবাদিক সম্মেলনে তিনি বলেন, "উনি মুখ্যমন্ত্রী থাকবেন কি থাকবে না সেটা সম্পূর্ণ ওনার সিদ্ধান্ত। জেলে যখন ছিলেন তখন উনি মুখ্যমন্ত্রী ছিলেন, চাইলে বাইরেও থাকতে পারেন। ওনার হয়তো দলীয় কিছু কাজ রয়েছে তাই উনি থাকতে চাইছেন না। এটা ওনার ব্যক্তিগত সিদ্ধান্ত"।
