ভিয়েতনাম মহিলা ফুটবল দলের ইতিহাস। এই প্রথম ফিফা মহিলা বিশ্বকাপের মূলপর্বে খেলতে দেখা যাবে ভিয়েতনামকে। পুরুষ হোক বা মহিলা ফুটবল ভিয়েতনাম একেবারেই পিছনের সারির দেশ।
ভিয়েতনাম মহিলা ফুটবল দলের ইতিহাস। এই প্রথম ফিফা মহিলা বিশ্বকাপের মূলপর্বে খেলতে দেখা যাবে ভিয়েতনামকে। পুরুষ হোক বা মহিলা ফুটবল ভিয়েতনাম একেবারেই পিছনের সারির দেশ। কিন্তু ফুটবলে বিপ্লবের ডাক দিয়ে বিশ্ব মহিলা ফুটবল মঞ্চে নিজেদের পতাকা ফুটবল এই দেশ। পুণের ডি ওয়াই পাতিল স্টেডিয়া মে আয়োজিত প্লে অফ ম্যাচে চাইনিজ তাইপেকে ২-১ গোলে হারিয়ে ২০২৩ ফিফা মহিলা বিশ্বকাপে (2023 FIFA Women's World Cup) খেলবে ভিয়েতনাম (Vietnam)।
২৪ থেকে বাড়িয়ে আগামী বছর অস্ট্রেলিয়া-নিউ জিল্যান্ডে আয়োজিত হতে চলা মহিলাদের বিশ্বকাপের মূলপর্বে অংশগ্রহণকারী দেশের সংখ্যা ৩২ করা হয়েছে। আয়োজক অস্ট্রেলিয়া সহ এশিয়া থেকে মোট ৬টি দেশ মূলপর্বে খেলবে। এশিয়া থেকে মহিলাদের বিশ্বকাপের মূলপর্বে খেলার যোগ্যতাঅর্জন করেছে জাপান, দক্ষিণ কোরিয়া, চিন, ফিলিপিন্স ও ভিয়েতনাম। আরও পড়ুন: মারা গেলেন সুরেশ রায়নার বাবা
