মণিপুরে চলতি বছর ১৩ ফেব্রুয়ারি থেকে রাষ্ট্রপতি শাসন জারি করা হয়েছে। তবু মণিপুরে হিংসা থামাতে পারছে না প্রশাসন।
Manipur Violence: নতুন করে ফের উত্তপ্ত হল উত্তর-পূর্ব ভারতের রাজ্যে মণিপুর। বিজেপির মুখ্যমন্ত্রী এন বীরেন সিং (N Biren Singh)-য়ের পদত্যাগের পর, চলতি বছর ১৩ ফেব্রুয়ারি থেকে রাষ্ট্রপতি শাসন জারি করা হয়েছে। কিন্তু রাষ্ট্রপতির শাসনে চলা মণিপুরে ফের নতুন করে হিংসা ছড়াচ্ছে। গতকাল, শনিবার সন্ধ্য়া থেকেই মণিপুরের পাঁচ জেলায় ব্যাপক হিংসা শুরু হয়। চলল গুলি, জ্বলল আগুন। মেইতি সম্প্রদায়ের এক নেতাকে গ্রেফতারের খবরে বিক্ষোভ থেকে হিংসা ছড়ায়। বিভিন্না জায়গায় পুলিশে গাড়িতে আগুন ধরিয়ে দেওয়া হয়। নিরাপত্তা বাহিনীর সঙ্গে বিক্ষোভকারীদের সংঘর্ষ শুরু হয়। রণক্ষেত্র হয়ে ওঠে গোটা এলাকা। এরপর মণিপুরের পাঁচ জেলায় ইন্টারনেট পরিষেবা বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হয়। জারি করা হয় কার্ফু।
