দ্বিতীয় দিনে পড়ল কংগ্রেসের 'ভারত জোড়ো যাত্রা' (Bharat Jodo Yatra)। দলের সাংসদ রাহুল গান্ধী (Rahul Gandhi), সিনিয়র নেতা ও সাংসদ পি চিদম্বরম (P Chidambaram), ছত্তিশগড়ের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী ভূপেশ বাঘেল (Bhupesh Baghel) এবং অন্যান্য কন্যাকুমারীর অগস্তেশ্বরম থেকে পদযাত্রা শুরু করেছেন। ১৫০ দিন ধরে কন্যাকুমারী থেকে কাশ্মীর পর্যন্ত এই কর্মসূচি চালাবে কংগ্রেস।
