তীব্র গরমে যেখানে মানুষের নাজেহাল অবস্থা হয়ে যাচ্ছে, সেখানে পশু-পাখিদের অবস্থা আরও শোচনীয়। সেই কারণে খাঁচাবন্দি প্রাণীদের জন্য বিশেষ ব্যবস্থা নিল পাটনা চিড়িয়াখানা (Patna Zoo) কর্তৃপক্ষ। বাঘ, সিংহ সহ সমস্ত প্রাণীদের খাঁচার সামনে কুলারের ব্যবস্থা করা হল। দুপুরের তীব্র গরম থেকে যাতে ক্ষণিকের স্বস্তি মেলে সেই কারণেই এই বিশেষ ব্যবস্থা। পাশাপাশি খাঁচাগুলিতে পাইপ দিয়ে জল ছড়ানো হচ্ছে, যাতে পশুপাখিদের কোনও অসুবিধা না হয়।
