President Draupadi Murmu: আজ সিয়াচেনের বেস ক্যাম্প পরিদর্শন করবেন রাষ্ট্রপতি দ্রৌপদী মুর্মু, লাদাখে তাঁকে স্বাগত জানান উপরাজ্যপাল ড. বিডি মিশ্র

রাষ্ট্রপতি দ্রৌপদী মুর্মু আজ সিয়াচেনের বেস ক্যাম্প পরিদর্শন করবেন। সেখানে মোতায়েন ভারতীয় সেনার জওয়ানদের সঙ্গেও কথা বলবেন তিনি। সকাল ১১টা নাগাদ লাদাখের লেফটেন্যান্ট গভর্নর ব্রিগেডিয়ার ডঃ বি ডি মিশ্র রাষ্ট্রপতি দ্রৌপদী মুর্মুকে থোয়াইজ এয়ারফিল্ডে স্বাগত জানান। উপস্থিত ছিলেন সাংসদ হানিফা জান, সিনিয়র সেনা আধিকারিক সহ অন্যান্য বিশিষ্টরা। কারাকোরাম রেঞ্জে অবস্থিত সিয়াচেন হিমবাহ অঞ্চলে অপারেশন মেঘদূতের আওতায় ১৯৮৪ সালের এপ্রিলে ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনীর নিয়ন্ত্রণ প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়। নিজের মেয়াদে এই প্রথম সেখানে যাচ্ছেন রাষ্ট্রপতি দ্রৌপদী মুর্মু।
