নিকি যাদব (Nikki Yadav) খুনে এবার পুলিশের কাছে রিপোর্ট চাইল জাতীয় মহিলা কমিশন। লিভ ইন সম্পর্কে মেয়েরা একেরবারেই নিরাপদ নন। এমনই মন্তব্য করলেন জাতীয় মহিলা কমিশনের প্রধান রেখা শর্মা। তিনি বলেন, পরিবারও সমানভাবে দায়ি এই ধরনের ঘটনায়। মেয়েদের যদি নিজেদের সঙ্গী পছন্দের অনুমতি দিত পরিবার, তাহলে এই ধরনের ঘটনা কমানো যেত বলে মন্তব্য করেন রেখা শর্মা। পাশাপাশি তিনি আরও জানান, পুলিশের কাছে নিকি যাদব খুনের রিপোর্ট চেয়ে পাঠানো হয়েছে। এ বিষয়ে উপযুক্ত সমস্ত পদক্ষেপ করা হবে বলেও জানান জাতীয় মহিলা কমিশনের প্রধান। প্রসঙ্গত ১০ ফেব্রুয়ারি লিভ ইন পার্টনার সাহিল গেহলটের (Sahil Gehlot) হাতে খুন হন তার ৪ বছরের সঙ্গী নিকি যাদব।
