নয়াদিল্লি: মোরাদাবাদের (Moradabad) একটি স্কুলের শিশুরা রাষ্ট্রীয় একতা দিবস (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) উপলক্ষে সর্দার বল্লভভাই প্যাটেলের (Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel) জন্মবার্ষিকীতে একটি বিশাল প্রতিকৃতি তৈরি করেছে। শিশুরা বিভিন্ন উপকরণ ব্যবহার করে এই প্রতিকৃতি গড়ে তুলেছে, যা ভারতের একতা ও অখণ্ডতার প্রতীক সর্দার প্যাটেলের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধার নিদর্শন।

সর্দার বল্লভভাই প্যাটেল (৩১ অক্টোবর ১৮৭৫ – ১৫ ডিসেম্বর ১৯৫০) ভারতের স্বাধীনতা সংগ্রামের অন্যতম নেতা, প্রথম উপপ্রধানমন্ত্রী এবং স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী। তাঁকে ‘ভারতের লৌহপুরুষ’ (Iron Man of India) বলা হয় কারণ তিনি স্বাধীনতার পর ৫৬২টি দেশীয় রাজ্যকে একত্রিত করে আধুনিক ভারতের ভৌগোলিক একতা গড়ে তুলেছিলেন।
