Rat Bite: হাসপাতালে ইঁদুরের কামড়ে দুই নবজাতকের মৃত্যু

নয়াদিল্লি: মধ্যপ্রদেশের ইন্দোরের সরকারি মহারাজা য়শবন্তরাও (MYH) হাসপাতালে ইঁদুরের কামড়ে (Rat Bite) দুই নবজাতকের (Newborn) মৃত্যুর ঘটনা ঘটেছে। এই মৃত্যুর ঘটনায় হাসপাতালের অস্বাস্থ্যকর পরিবেশ এবং অবহেলার কারণে ব্যাপক বিতর্কের সৃষ্টি হয়েছে। প্রথম কামড়ের ঘটনা ৩০ আগস্ট সন্ধ্যায় ঘটে, পরের দিন আরেকটি শিশুর মাথা এবং কাঁধে কামড়ের চিহ্ন পাওয়া যায়। দুটি শিশুই জন্মগত ত্রুটি (কনজেনিটাল ডিফর্মিটি) -এর কারণে দুর্বল অবস্থায় ছিল এবং ভেন্টিলেটরে ছিল। প্রথম শিশু ২ সেপ্টেম্বর নিউমোনিয়ার কারণে মারা যায়।
