এনডিএ-র (NDA) বৈঠকের পর যখন সর্বসম্মতিক্রমে প্রধানমন্ত্রী নির্বাচিত করা হয় নরেন্দ্র মোদীকে (Narendra Modi), সেই সময় কংগ্রেসকে পালটা বিঁধলেন নমো। মোদী বলেন, গত ১০ বছরে কংগ্রেস ১০০ আসন পায়নি। শুধু তাই নয়, ২০১৪, ২০১৯ এবং ২০২৪ সাল মিলিয়েও কংগ্রেস সেই লক্ষ্যমাত্রার আসনে পৌঁছতে পারেনি, যা বিজেপি এবার একা পেয়েছে বলে মন্তব্য করেন মোদী। পাশাপাশি তিনি আও বলেন, ইন্ডিয়া জোটের সদস্যরা আগে ধীরে ধীরে ডুবছিলেন, এখন তাঁরা দ্রুত ডুবছেন বলে এনডিএ বিরোধীদের কড়া কটাক্ষ করেন মোদী।
