তীব্র গরমে খাবারের খোঁজে এক প্রান্ত থেকে অন্য প্রান্তে যেতে হচ্ছে জীবজন্তুদের। এমনিতেই জলের সমস্যা হচ্ছে প্রায় প্রতিটি রাজ্যে। তবে জলের পাশাপাশি পর্যাপ্ত খাদ্য পাচ্ছে না পথে ঘাটে ঘুরতে থাকা পশুপাখিরা। আর সেই কারণেই বিশেষ উদ্যোগ নেওয়া হল লখনউ পুলিশের (Lucknow Police) পক্ষ থেকে। তৃণভোজি জীবদের জন্য খাদ্যশস্য, কলার ব্যবস্থা করলেন পুলিশকর্মীরা। আর তা নিজেদের হাতে জীবদের খাওয়ালেন তাঁরা। লখনউ পুলিশের এই বিশেষ উদ্যোগকে সাধুবাত জানালেন আমজনতা।
