অপ্রত্যাশিত ফাটল দেখা মাত্রই আতঙ্ক তৈরি হয় স্থানীয়দের মধ্যে। বহুতল থেকে আবাসিকদের বের করে আনা হয়।
ভরদুপুরে কর্ণাটকের (Karnataka) বহুতলে একের পর এক ফাটল (Cracks) চোখে পড়ল। পরক্ষণে হুড়মুড়িয়ে ভেঙে পড়ল আস্ত ভবন। শুক্রবার কর্ণাটকের কোলারে একটি বহুতল আবাসিক ভবনের নিচতলায় সংস্কারের কাজ চলছিল। মেরামতির কাজ চলাকালীন আচমকাই বহুতলে চোখে পড়ে একের পর এক ফাটল। অপ্রত্যাশিত ফাটল দেখা মাত্রই আতঙ্ক তৈরি হয় স্থানীয়দের মধ্যে। বহুতল থেকে আবাসিকদের বের করে আনা হয়। কিছুক্ষণের মধ্যেই তাসের ঘরের মত ভেঙে ধূলিসাৎ হয়ে যায় মস্ত বহুতল। মুহূর্তের মধ্যে বাসস্থান হারা হয় ওই আবাসনের তিনটি পরিবার। তবে বহুতল খালি করে দেওয়ায় কোন হতাহতের খবর পাওয়া যায়নি।
