রাজ্যসভায় জয়া বচ্চনকে (Jaya Bachchan) 'জয়া অমিতাভ বচ্চন' বলে ডাকায় চটলেন সমাজবাদী পার্টির নেত্রী। রাজ্যসভার ডেপুটি চেয়ারম্যান অভিনেত্রী সাংসদকে জয়া অমিতাভ বচ্চন (Amitabh Bachchan) বলে সম্মোধন করায় সামান্য ক্ষোভ প্রকাশ করেন অভিনেত্রী। তিনি বলেন, তাঁকে যদি জয়া বচ্চন বলে শুধু ডাকা হত,তাহলে ঠিক ছিল। এমনকী মহিলাদের পৃথকভাবে কোনও পরিচিতি নেই বলেও কটাক্ষ করেন জয়া বচ্চন। জয়া বচ্চনের কথায় পালটা উত্তর দেন রাজ্যসভার ডেপুটি চেয়ারম্যান। তিনি বলেন, সমাজবাদী পার্টির সাংসদের নামের জায়গায় জয়া অমিতাভ বচ্চন লেখা বলেই তিনি তার উল্লেখ করেন।
