Jammu And Kashmir: জঙ্গি নিধন অভিযানে বীর বিক্রমে শহিদ কর্নেল মনপ্রীত সিং, বাবাকে শেষ বিদায় ছোট্ট ছেলের
বাবাকে শেষ বিদায় জানাল ছোট্ট ছেলে। শুক্রবার কফিন বন্দি বাবাকে স্যালুট করে শেষ বিদায় জানায় অনন্তনাগ এনকাউন্টারে শহিদ কর্নেল মনপ্রীত সিংয়ের ৭ বছরের ছেলে। পাঞ্জাবের মোহালিতে আজ কর্নেল মনপ্রীত সিংকে চির বিদায় জানাবেন তাঁর পরিবার এবং অসংখ্য মানুষ। বুধবার থেকে জম্মু কাশ্মীরের অনন্তাগে সেনা, জঙ্গি গুলির লড়াই শুরু হয়। অনন্তনাগের কোকেরনাগে লস্কর জঙ্গিদের একটি দল লুকিয়ে রয়েছে বলে খবর পায় সেনা বাহিনী। এরপরই জম্মু কাশ্মীর পুলিশের সঙ্গে একযোগে তল্লাশি অভিযান শুরু করে সেনা বাহিনী। লস্কর জঙ্গিদের দলটিকে খুঁজতে সামনে থেকে নেতৃত্ব দিচ্ছিলেন কর্নেল মনপ্রীত সিং। ওই সময়ই মনপ্রীতের গায়ে গুলি লাগে। মনপ্রীতের পাশাপাশি মেজর আশিস ধনোচ এবং জম্মু কাশ্মীর পুলিশের ডিএসপি হুমায়ুন ভাটেরও গুলি লাগে। সঙ্গে সঙ্গে ওই ৩ জনকে শ্রীনগরে উড়িয়ে নিয়ে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়। তবে শেষরক্ষা হয়নি।
