আগামীকাল থেকে উত্তর-পশ্চিম এবং মধ্য ভারতে বিরাজমান তাপপ্রবাহ থেকে তীব্র তাপপ্রবাহের অবস্থা ধীরে ধীরে কমতে পারে বলে পূর্বাভাসে জানিয়েছে ভারতের আবহাওয়া বিভাগ (IMD) আবহাওয়া অফিস জানিয়েছে, ৩০ মে থেকেই ভারত জুড়ে তাপপ্রবাহ কমে যাবে।কারণ বর্ষা আসার সময় এসে গেছে। দক্ষিণ পশ্চিম মৌসুমি বায়ুর প্রভাবে, এবার, সারা দেশে দীর্ঘ সময়ের গড় বৃষ্টিপাতের ১০৬ শতাংশ বৃষ্টি হতে পারে। তাই, সামগ্রিকভাবে আসন্ন বর্ষায় দেশে স্বাভাবিকের থেকে বেশি বৃষ্টিপাত হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা বেশি রয়েছে।
