কর্ণাটকের (Karnataka) পর গুজরাট (Gujarat)। HMPV ভাইরাসে তৃতীয় আক্রান্তের খোঁজ মিলল। এবার গুজরাটে। রিপোর্টে প্রকাশ, কর্ণাটকের পর গুজরাটে এক শিশু HMPV ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত। যার বয়স মাত্র ২ মাস। আক্রান্ত শিশুকে আহমেদাবাদের একটি হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়েছে বলে খবর। তবে ওই শিশুর বাড়ি আহমেদাবাদে নয়। ওই শিশু সর্দি, কাশিতে আক্রান্ত হলে, বাবা-মা তাকে আহমেদাবাদে নিয়ে যান। সেখানকার একটি হাসপাতালে ওই শিশুকে ভর্তি করা হলে জানা যায়, সে HMPV ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত। ফলে HMPV ভাইরাসের কবলে বেশি করে পড়ছে সদ্যোজাত শিশুরাই। এর আগে কর্ণাচকে যে ২ শিশুর আক্রান্ত হওয়ার খবর মেলে, তাদের মধ্যে একজনের বয়স ২, অন্যজন ৮ মাসের।
