এক মহিলার মৃত্যুর ঘটনায় দিল্লির মেট্রোর তরফে মহিলার পরিবারকে ১৫ লক্ষ টাকা ক্ষতিপূরণ দিল ডিএমআরসি। ইন্দ্রলোক মেট্রো স্টেশনে দুর্ঘটনার জেরে এই ক্ষতিপূরণ দেওয়া হয়েছে বলে জানা গেছে।
গতসপ্তাহে মেট্রোয় চড়ার সময়ে মহিলার শাড়ি এবং জ্যাকেট কোনভাবে গেটে আটকে যায়। যার ফলে মেট্রো বেশ কয়েকমিটার ওই অবস্থাতেই ওই মহিলাকে টেনে নিয়ে যায়।গুরুতর আহত অবস্থায় হাসপাতালে মহিলাকে ভর্তি করা হলে তাকে মৃত বলে ঘোষণা করে।
