বার্ষিক চিথিরাই উৎসবের ১১ তম দিনে আজ (৩ মে, বুধবার) সকালে তামিলনাড়ুর মাদুরাইয়ের আরুলমিগু মীনাক্ষী সুন্দরস্বর মন্দিরে অসংখ্য ভক্তরা ভিড় জমায়৷ মীনাক্ষী আম্মান (দেবী পার্বতী) এবং ভগবান শিবের বিবাহকে স্মরণ করে পালিত হওয়া এই উৎসবটি মাদুরাই চিথিরাইয়ের একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দিক। মাদুরাই মীনাক্ষী আম্মান থিরুকল্যানম বা চিথিরাই থিরুভিজা নামেও পরিচিত এই উৎসবটি তামিল ক্যালেন্ডারের প্রথম মাসে পালন করা হয়, যা এপ্রিলের মাঝামাঝি শুরু হয়। দেখুন উৎসবে সামিল ভক্তদের ভিডিও-
