সিকিমের মেঘেভাঙা বৃষ্টির জেরে নিহত জওয়ান মিতুল কালিতার পরিবারকে ৫ লক্ষ টাকার আর্থিক সাহায্য প্রদান করলেন অসমের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী হেমন্ত বিশ্বশর্মা। মঙ্গলবার অসমের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী নিহত সেনার বাড়ি যান এবং পরিবারের লোকজনের সঙ্গে দেখা করেন।
বাকসা জেলার আনন্দবাজার হাটখোলা এলাকার অবস্থিত বাড়িতে নিহত জওয়ানের প্রতিকৃতিতে মাল্যদান করেন তিনি। সিকিমে মেঘ ভাঙা বৃষ্টিতে বিপর্যয়ে পড়ে সাধারণ মানুষ থেকে সেনা জওয়ানরা। ভেসে যায় বহু সেনা।উদ্ধার হয় বেশ কয়েকটি সেনার গাড়ি।স্থানীয় মানুষদের উদ্ধারকার্যে নেমেছে এনডিআরএফ বাহিনী।
