Siliguri: লোকালয়ে ঢুকে পড়ল হাতি, আতঙ্কে শিলিগুড়ি

নয়াদিল্লিঃ লোকালয়ে ঢুকে পড়ল হাতি(Elephant)। আর হাতির তাণ্ডবে নষ্ট ক্ষেতের ফসল। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে শিলিগুড়ির(Siliguri) রাঙাপানিতে(Rangapani)। আচমকাই লোকালয়ে ঢুকে পড়ে একটি হাতি। কয়েক ঘণ্টা দাপিয়ে বেড়ায় গোটা এলাকায়। এই ঘটনায় বনকর্মী গণেশ শর্মা বলেন,"আমাদের কাছে খবর আসে একটি হাতি লোকালয়ে প্রবেশ করেছে। খবর পেয়ে দল নিয়ে এখানে এসেছি আমরা। আরও দল আসছে। যত তাড়াতাড়ি সম্ভব হাতিটিকে উদ্ধার করার চেষ্টা করব আমরা।"
